Action for Development (ACFODE) is an indigenous, voluntary, non partisan, non governmental women’s interest organization that was formed on November 19, 1985. Its founders were motivated by the desire to spearhead gender advocacy. In this regard ACFODE envisions a just society where gender equality is a reality.
